Welcome to the Iwerne Valley Benefice

The Iwerne Valley Benefice is made up of five parishes, Ashmore, Fontmell Magna, Sutton Waldron, Iwerne Minster and Shroton.  The Villages are situated on the edge of the Cranborne Chase and  the Blackmore Vale.  Our churches play an important role in the life of our villages.  Offering a wide range of worship, commuity events, coffee mornings and much much more.

CHRISTMAS PAGAENT IS CANCELLED FOR 2017 - Sadly we are having to cancel the much loved Christmas Pagaent, we apologise for this and hope to celebrate it next year in all its Glory.

New for the Benefice

'Winter Afternoons' - begin on Thursday 11th January 2018.  2pm-4pm St Mary's Church Shroton.  Come and join us for Tea, Talk and Biscuits.  To start the season, please bring a photograph which means something special to you.  Any questions please phone Angela 01258 861542

Food Banks - There is a collection point in St Mary's Church, Shroton, items are collected every Wednesday and delivered to Blandford Food Bank on a Thursday and a collection point in St Andrew's Church, Fontmell Magna, going to the Gillingham Food Bank.  Please give generously, and ensure all items have a long shelf life.  Thank you
