Welcome to the Iwerne Valley Benefice
The Iwerne Valley Benefice is made up of five parishes, Ashmore, Fontmell Magna, Sutton Waldron, Iwerne Minster and Shroton. The Villages are situated on the edge of the Cranborne Chase and the Blackmore Vale. Our churches play an important role in the life of our villages. Offering a wide range of worship, community events, coffee mornings and much much more We are proud to say that we cater for a variety of worship tastes within our Benefice, including 'Breakfast Church' especially designed to be family / Child friendly with breakfast provided for all, modern services of Morning worship, Services of Holy Communion based on both the more modern Common Worship settings and also in the older more traditional form 'The Book of common prayer' We are very lucky to have a wonderful team of both Lay Worship Leaders and Clergy who run our services and who provide a fantastic variety of worship styles and teaching. 'A Vicar's Invitation' - If you have any questions about the Christian Faith. If you would like to discuss the questions of Life and Death. Coffee Mornings: The Parish Church of St Mary Iwerne Minster hold a Coffee Morning called the 'Hub at the Club' in the Village Hall every other Thursday from 10am till 1200 all welcome, Coffee, home, made cakes, good company, Mums and Children are very welcome a 'children's space' with toys etc is provided.

Office hours - The Benefice Office is open each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 2pm till 5pm. Tel 01258 861576.
Food Banks - There is a collection point in St Mary's Church, Shroton, items are collected every Wednesday and delivered to Blandford Food Bank on a Thursday and a collection point in St Andrew's Church, Fontmell Magna, going to the Gillingham Food Bank. Please give generously, and ensure all items have a long shelf life. Thank you.
